It's Time To Start Searching For College Scholarships

For all of you parents out there who are looking at college acceptance letters for your high school senior children, it's late, but not too late, to kick it into high gear and start applying for free college scholarship money.

Thanks for the tip on this book. I'll definitely go preview it at B&N. For those parents with limited time on their hands for "searching" I also suggest you check out www.livingwellgrants.com They do a superior personalized scholarship search with the best results I've seen anywhere. Really Great!

You should also check out http://www.morethangrades.com. They offer scholarship money of their own and post scholarships from around the country. The site was started by two NYU business students as a way to help follow students, and parents, get all the information and guidance they need. The site is not a social networking site, rather a networking site. There goal is to put students and colleges together and then step out of the picture. And best of all, it is free for parents, students, and teachers to use.
